Die UTEP Miners sind ein College-Basketballteam, das die University of Texas in El Paso (UTEP) in der NCAA Division I FBS vertritt. Das Team ist Mitglied der Conference USA und trägt seine Heimspiele im Don Haskins Center in El Paso, Texas, aus. Die Miners haben vier nationale Meisterschaften gewonnen (1966, 1975, 1987 und 1992) und zählen damit zu den erfolgreichsten College-Basketballprogrammen aller Zeiten. Sie haben außerdem 17 Mal das NCAA-Turnier erreicht und 12 Mal die Sweet 16 erreicht. Die Miners werden von Joe Golding trainiert.
